Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING + DELIVERY

The Afterwhite ships worldwide from Canada. In stock items will ship within 2 business days. If you select next day overnight we will make every effort to get your order out within 1 business day (sometimes less!)

Please note, our order cutoff time is 1 PM EST Monday - Friday. Any orders placed after our cut off time will be shipped the following business day regardless of the chosen shipping service.

Please allow a minimum of 14 business days unless otherwise stated for made to order pieces.


IMPORTANT INFO

Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization.

Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch.

We are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

Depending on your country, you may be subject to customs or import duty charges.   To ensure there are no surprises when you package arrives we recommend you contact your local customs office to find out what fees you may be subject to. We are unable to pay these charges on your behalf, and all charges must be paid on delivery of your order. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned and The Afterwhite will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

We hope you love your purchase but if you don't you can return them with exception of made to order pieces, samples, gift cards, sale items discounted more than 50% and any items marked 'Final Sale'.

SALE ITEMS

Sale items can be returned for exchange or store credit only. Sale items that are discounted more than 50% will be marked final sale and are not eligible for exchange or store credit. 

Regular priced items purchased using a discount code are not considered final sale  

We accept returns within 14 days, starting from the day your order was delivered. The item must arrive to The Afterwhite within this time period, not postmarked. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase arrived, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or credit.

At this time we do not cover the cost of the return shipment however, we will provide you with a return label for a discounted rate. Please see below for a breakdown of return shipping fees: 

  • Canada: Free
  • USA: $35 USD
  • International: $60 USD

Items must be in original condition (including tags) and must not have been worn, altered, damaged, soiled or washed. Some pieces are made with delicate fabrics and the majority of our pieces are white so please take care when trying them on and when packing them to return. All packaging (including garment bags) shipped with your order must be returned.

Every clothing item shipped has a tag attached reading "Once this tag is removed, this garment cannot be returned". Once this tag has been removed, the garment is no longer returnable. Each piece will undergo an inspection upon return and The Afterwhite reserves the right to withhold the refund for damaged or worn goods. Items that are returned with makeup or marks will be subject to a dry cleaning fee of $50. 

We do not refund shipping charges or international duties or taxes. The return shipment is the sole responsibility of the customer and The Afterwhite is not responsible for shipments lost or damaged in transit back to us. 

To submit a return please following the instructions below.

SUBMIT A RETURN

The process for returning to the Online Store is detailed below:

1. Submit a Return
Visit our returns portal: https://www.theafterwhite.com/pages/returnsportal

 2. Confirmation

If your return is accepted you will receive an email with the return details.

3. Pack Your Return
When returning items ensure you enclose:
• The completed Returns Form, including your return number
• Your Invoice 
• The item(s) for return, including packaging

4. Send Your Return
• Carefully follow the instructions for the return shipping documents sent to you via DHL (if selected). Ensure the paperwork is signed. Your return must be received in at our HQ within 14 days of receiving the goods. If we do not see that the package has been accepted within 14 days the label will be cancelled and your return will not be accepted.

• Affix the returns label (enclosed in the return shipping documents) to the outside of the package; 
• Arrange a free collection with DHL by visiting www.dhl.com or calling, 1-855-345- 7447. Alternatively, drop the package off at at DHL facility or Canada Post (Canadian Returns)

5. Confirmation + Refund
Once your return has been received and processed you will receive an email with details of your refund. Please allow 7-10 business days after your shipment has been received for refund processing. 

PRICE MATCHING

We do price match, subject to a few restrictions. Merchandise must be the same in both style and color, as well as currently in stock to be considered a valid price match. All price matches are subject to final approval by The Afterwhite.
